I'm seeing your comments on Michael Pfeffer's FB page and obviously you know FORDS! The only Ford truck that interest me is the F150 and possibly with their 2.7 HOWEVER... since the bean-counters at Ford decided to switch from a chain driven oil pump to a wet bath oil belt, that has me holding back. Am I to be concerned about that oil pump belt degrading, the teeth breaking off and/or belt fibers clogging up the oil pump pick-up??? Feedback is much appreciated.

How do you put the roller follower back on with the flat head screw driver?

If someone towed a boat and backed too far in the water it can break down the oil and bearings over time

I saw one video where the guy removes the whole cam without pulling out the roller followers he just held the cam in place with the phaser bolt being kept in place by a socket. Is this possible without doing all the cylinders one at a time like you do in this video? If not how did he do it without problems? He basically pulled the cam on each head then replaced all the rfs before putting the whole cams back in at once. No cylinder by cylinder step like here.

Where is this guy’s shop at? I have a 2022 Ford Transit 350 AWD with 50K miles. My right cv axle is on its way out; I could hear a very faint clicking when going in and out of a dip , uneven roads and on slow acceleration.

Wire on the switch tumbler means what. Little black wire. It is loose. Truck will not shut off. Continues to run. ?????? What shall I dooo.

Thanks for the video just had to replace my fuel rail pressure sensor for my 2005 Ford Focus after the engine light came on and detected that my sensor was faulty. This video worked and saved me from going to a mechanic. Great and easy steps and I had my new sensor installed in a few minutes. My car now runs so much better than before.

The best thing I did was buying the Premium Care ESP from Zeigler for my 2018 F150 when I started noticing issues with the trans. Ive had the ESP for about 9 months now and have had the trans rebuilt, sunroof replaced, phasers replaced (again and finally with the revised PN), oil pan gasket, and a turbo oil feed line replaced.

If you are reading this, save yourself the headache. Do not buy a Ford. Coolant intrusion confirmed by dealer diagnosis. 63k kilometers, 2018 For Escape falls under the generic criteria of 21N12 but the VIN is not tied to the program. Neither Ford Canada, nor the 3 dealers I talked to could tell me why the car is excluded from the CSP. Same generic garbage, no real answers.

That video was spot on with how my truck is running with the low power. I took my air filter off and did not find anything blocking behind like the video showed the piece of foam. I am guessing it is the catalytic converters. My truck has 225,000 miles on it. Thank you again so much!

Great video, 5 quarts for $40 at Ford Parts vs $13 a quart at AutoZone. The only problem I had was my fluid level plug was not located on the side of the transmission. I’m still searching for it.

The problem here is their profit has become our added cost of ownership. IMHO that makes the value of what we are buying less. If Ford thinks a $6K bill every 70 thousand miles is okay?. Then Ford should reduce the price of the truck by 18K. I know I expect my truck to last more that 150K now a days . Even if I paid only 45k for the truck I'd still be mad at a $6,000.00 bill every 70k miles...

My tie rod ends are reverse. The nut is facing towards the ground rather than up towards the truck. I cannot get the tie rod end to come upward and out of the slot. Anybody else have any problems with this or any recommendations?

Brian, I just replaced my full AC system 2003 ford focus. (Project car). My spec sheet says " when all lines and components are renewed" add 60ml Pag46 oil. Not replaced, not rebuilt. Do you happen to know what Ford is talking about? Thx for your help.

Is there a means to remove that problem all together? I've been using a spare key on my car for a while now since the original was destroyed by a family member, but this problem only barely started and when i ask the guy that helps me fix it, he avoids answering that question I'm pretty sure he just wants me to keep coming back, but I can't keep having to take my car out just to mess with a few fuses and cables I'd like to know if there's a way to get rid of this problem all together
